top 15 Wedding Venues in Wellington

Here are the top 15 wedding venues in Wellington with the key details you need to know about each, including location, capacity, website, and photos.

Wellington has almost everything in terms of wedding venues, ranging from urban chic city wedding venues, windswept rugged intimate venues, rustic barn venues, museums, community halls, alternative wedding venues, and high end luxury wedding venues, all within a short distance of Wellington City itself.

Wellington has some of the most beautiful landscape in New Zealand. Particularly stunning is the rugged wild coastline. Wellington City itself is full of great restaurants, hipster cafes, street art, cute alleyways, museums, fashion boutiques, markets, and a diverse collection of friendly people. It's the coolest city in the country, and we are not biased at all (even if we do live here).

Wellington's weather can be a little unpredictable, but Wellington wedding venues have of course had a ton of experience with this and have wet weather wedding day backup options sorted.

Wellington is a particularly easy city to get in and out of for most people around New Zealand and around the world. Wellington is one of the cheapest airports in the country to fly in and out of for domestic travellers.

Wellington City also has an abundance of accommodation options available for yourselves and all of your wedding guests. There are some really unique beautiful places available throughout the city and out into the countryside. We recommend checking out bookabach and Airbnb if you were looking for unique locations for getting ready, or some of the great Hotels the city has to offer.

The pricing of venues will vary a lot. Wedding venue pricing will range from cheap as a few hundred dollars for a community hall, to $100,000+ for some of the top end venues. For pricing and booking availability get in touch with the venues directly.
