The River House Wedding Ceremony Spot with a View

At The River House wedding venue you can get married amongst the vines with the Tuki Tuki River and Te Mata Peak as your backdrop. The River House’ beautiful ceremony location is a large avenue between the vines, so you can fit as many people as you like with plenty of room for both seating and standing. The ground is flat and easy to walk on and the surrounding hills and lush greenery make this an incredible place for your wedding ceremony.

It is also just a short walk from The River House’ Homestead so you can simply walk to the wedding ceremony after getting ready.

There are endless beautiful spaces for your wedding guests to mingle and play games at The River House wedding venue

A wonderful thing about The River House wedding venue is each part of your day can take place in a different part of the expansive property. Your guests can start the day with a welcome drink in one of The River House’ beautiful courtyards, head down to the vines for your wedding ceremony, enjoy canapes and drinks in one of their beautiful lawns overlooking the view, and then head in to a marquee for a bespoke wedding reception. Meanwhile, you or the kids can even go for a swim in the elegant pool on site!

It’s also entirely up to you what parts of The River House property you want to use, and how you would like to use them. This is great as it means you can create a bespoke wedding that reflects you and what is important to you.

There are amazing photoshoot locations to choose from when you get married at The River House

Hawkes Bay boasts one of the best locations imaginable for wedding photos. There really is nothing quite like having your wedding photos taken at the stunning Te Mata Peak. The River House owners also run an event and marquee company called Marquees over Hawkes Bay, where they have all kinds of marquees and furniture available for hire. They will even set up the marquee one or two days before your wedding so that you have plenty of time to style it to your hearts content.
